Chippewa Valley Medical Clinic

The Chippewa Medical Clinic is located in Chippewa Falls, WI and  was a true design/build process. The intent was for the Cottagewood Group, an affiliate of Hoeft Builders (HBI), to finance the project and own the building, then enter into long-term lease agreements with the two tenant clients. A construction budget and lease terms were established up front, providing parameters for the land purchase, type of construction and architectural design and layout.

After a lengthy design and planning process which included negotiating the purchase of the city-owned land, the construction phase was completed efficiently in a four-month build-out. Of particular importance was the MRI room. The client operated a similar facility in Eau Claire, where Hoeft Builders opened up an exterior wall, removed the existing MRI equipment and sent it to Chicago for refurbishing before installing it in new Chippewa facility. The Eau Claire facility was remodeled by Hoeft Builders during the process with new shielding and new MRI equipment.
